sorry its all come to a head and ended like this hun, i would contact citizens advice and they will be able to tell you what you may be entitled to now

You will be entitled to child maintenence from him, along with (i think) income support until LO is old enough to go to school (5, I think). If you move out, you'll also be entitled to housing benefit.
Hope you are ok hun :hugs: x

I can't help on the practical side of things as I don't know what's available for you over there... Just wanted to say I'm really sorry you're going through this and hope you're as ok as you can be :hugs:

I think you will be entitled to income support (it's actually until your child turns 7, it used to be 10 but this gov have changed it) child tax credits and obviously you will be getting child benefit already

I think this is right, contact the benefits department about it.

Sorry to hear things haven't worked out for you.

Sorry to hear. Make sure you contact tax credit office as your tax credits may increase. x :hugs:

Just wanted to send some hugs. I hope you are ok.:hugs:

I thought you only get ctc or wtc if you work? Because ur basically reclaimin the tax ur payin from your wage/salary.. Im not sure:shrug: jus thought thats wat it was for.. Sorry to hear about the break up.. Dont really kno much about single parent entitlements though.. Sorry xx

I cant help much with the benefits side of it, but i just wanted to say that im so sorry, after reading your last thread, id assumed things were working out now.

If there was violence last night then your right for this to be the last straw...Massssssive :hugs:

sorry to hear that i dont work ur will be entailllted to child tax child benefit and income suport

so sorry to hear that hun, i know things had been tough for you :hugs::hugs:

on the benefits side of things u should be entitled to: income support (a maximum amount of £67.50pw) ctc (£60pw is max i got told but this may not be true) housing benefit and council tax benefit (if you move out) but i think thats all - thats what im gettin.

Hope thi helps hun, and i hope you get things sorted soon xx

sorry that it ended this way *hugs* is there a possibility of maybe finding a part time job and asking your mum to watch LO for those hours? then i believe you'd be entitled to wtc but im not sure. and ctc, and dont forget child maintenance from your ex.

youll get child tax credit if you dont work and income surpport and child benfit and money of your ex x

Sorry hun :(

You can get housing benefit, council tax benefit, child tax credit and income support. X

Not 100% sure. But I would contact taxs credits first thing tomorrow and tell them of your changes. I would then het in touch with the benefits about income support and anything else you can claim. I would then speak to your OH and see if you can come to an arrangement on how he is going to help financially.

Sorry to hear that it hasn't worked out xxx

I think you get Child Tax credits (if you have worked) and child benefit regardless - please don't quote me. income support or JSA. I do think your mum's income might factor in, esp if you are not renting??

Speak to CSA..... and get that child maintenance!!!!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ok...as a singleparent who for a while after a nervous breakdown caused by ex and having to leave work i can tell u what you can claim....after baby is born, you can claim, local housing allowance two bedroom rate for your area...google your area, council tax full benefit, income support £67.50 weekly, child tax credit £108.29 when baby born, child benefit £20.30 before birth £33.70 after birth and child maintenance. You can also claim the healthy start vouchers £9.60 which you can buy milk and vegmwith at asda/tesco etc. Total equals £219.09 per week and full council tax benefit and keep maintenance. You can claim this irregardless of living at home, only thing you cannot claim is local housing allowance.

here is where it tells you what you can claim:
www.entitledto.org.uk

You can claim income support until last child is 5, then you have to work at least 16 hours...if you work before that you will gain working tax credits and get 70% towards childcare through tax credits.

Child maintenance does not affect at all any benefits now...work out how much he should contribute here.
https://www2.dwp.gov.uk/csa/v2/en/calculate-maintenance.asp

First you need to go to jobcentre and claim income support then ring child benefit and around for second child when he/she arrives and google healthy start for pack. Then when baby is born, register birth and then inform taxcredit and child ben, as a single parent taxcredits and income support will be done very quick.

If you need a deposit for a house then ask council andjob cente as they have schemes where they will pay or lend the deposit to rent, housing allowance again goes through quick as is linked to inome support.

p.s i usedto work for the jobcentre and do the benefit calculations lol!

goodluck hun
