Delayed AF after abandoned IVF

Hello ladies!

we had to abandon our first IVF cycle in August due to OHSS and we have 15embies on ice. I had my AF on time after the IVF cycle. This natural cycle I am not sure whether or not I ov and now AF is a week late. I have done a hpt and got a bfn so is not that. Has anyone else found this at all after IVF and can you advise when I should contact the clinic to see if there is anything they can do?

I am really impatient as I have been advised to wait for two AFs before we can start FET.

I Dont Really Have Much Advice But Maybe You Doctor Could Give You So Tablets To Induce A Bleed??

Well done on the 15 embies. I also had OHSS and had to have my ivf cancelled, I got 32 eggs and 13 fertlised, 4 went to blast and having FET this month. I had a normal AF after my cancelled IVF but then no show for 2months and three weeks. This was unusual to be that long and I thought it was never going to come. I went to the FS about two weeks ago and they scaned me and said I look like I am half way through my cycle and gave me provea to take if it hadn't come but pleased to say it has. Hope AF comes soon for you x

Wow 32 eggs is amazing. Not surprising you got OHSS, hope it was not too bad.
How many cycles have you had since your treatment? Did your clinic insist on waiting? Are you having natural FET or with meds?

I didn't realise I had OHSS felt really sore but as I had never had IVF before just thought it was one of the side effects. The hospital did give me a drug to lower my hornmones down so don't know if this added to the delay in my AF. No my FS didn't tell me I had to wait another cycle. I even asked as it does get recommended on here quite a bit but they said no need. A bit of me wanted to wait to be on the safe side but so keen to start I have decided to start straight away really hope I don't regret it. I am medicated so on my 21 day from my AF still have to down reg for three weeks then be given another drug but not the one that stim your overies. Hope she comes soon for you keep me posted. How many days are you snow babies xx

They are only 2 days old so still a lot might go wrong.....the good news is that AF came yesterday
I'm sure you have made the right decision, I would have done the same given the choice!
