Congratulations and good luck in your TTC journey.

As far as the Rh negative blood (I'm Rh negative, DH is Rh positive) you don't actually need any injections until later on in the pregnancy. The Rh negative won't affect this pregnancy at all, but could affect future pregnancies (your body builds up antibodies against the Rh positive blood type over time during your first pregnancy).

It still probably wouldn't hurt to go to a doctor and talk to them about TTC and make sure you are on a prenatal vitamin/folic acid pill!

Hi there

The same old stuff- like start taking Folic Acid or a Pregnancy Vitamin that includes it.....
Yeh and knitting will keep you busy for a while!lol

But I m sure you will be fine...just keep yourself healthy and let it run its natural course!!!

Thanks! I thought I'd have to go get a shot before I'm able to conceive! This makes it easier hehe. I did read about it affecting future pregnancies more than the first one.

Nope shouldn't be a problem with this pregnancy at all! I haven't even had my first shot yet!!

It is actually two injections. I think they said I'll get my first later in the second trimester, and the second in the third trimester--could be wrong though because we went through a lot of information at my first OB appointment. I'm sure they'll clarify at my next appointment.

Thanks for the info! I hope everything goes great with your pregnancy!

hey, that i great news to hear! :D I hope you enjoy yourself during your TTC journey :) and that you get your BFP as soon as you start ;)

And knitting already! I want to start on a blanket hehe just to kill some time while i am TTC :) did you order your yarn online? I haven't bought any yarn for myself yet, but was looking around at wal-mart today at some but wanted to look around for a nice soft yarn that would be perfect for baby!

Hi there

I too drink a lot of coke but not as much as before. I read on a forum about caffeine not being good for pregnancy, that drinking 5 cans a day can cause miscarriage. I drink probably 2 cans a day and am cutting down but I need one in the morning to get going!

Drink water, folic acid and pregnancy vit pill as everyone said, eat as healthily as you can and keep knitting!!! Good luck

Yes! I ordered from knitpicks.com, they're great, prices are amazing, and the yarn is wonderful! The stuff I ordered for the sweater I'm making before we TTC is a fingering weight merino/silk mix, so it's sure to be super soft! (note: haven't looked at your profile, but knitpicks will only deliver to USA and Canada) Good luck TTC!!!

Thanks! My usual diet pepsi intake is around 2 liters a day minimum (ouch) so it's going to be hard to cut down! I definitely need some in the morning to get me going, but I'm going to try to drink more water and fruit juices throughout the rest of the day instead of pepsi.

My mom was drinking A LOT! of coffee when she concieved me, and my 3 sisters. So she's never had a problem with caffeine, but I dont want to take any chances. I hope I get pregnant the first try (high hopes!) *fingers crossed* Thanks for your reply, and good luck cutting down on the soda!
