Maybe shes just engaging cause i know that can cause pressure without you dropping.

I went from 4/5 engaged to 2/5 engaged this week, so that's probably it. Do you only drop when fully engaged then?

Wishful thinking, huh :p

I Dropped and engaged with my son when i was in labor LOL. So i dont honestly know to much about how it all works, I just know I dropped before she engaged

Hmm. That's interesting... I've always carried pretty low, here's my 27w photo as an example -

She never really moved up, my bump has always started way below my pubic crease.

I think I've dropped (at least a little bit) so a comparison:

37 weeks -

38 weeks -

I personally think you dropped a little bit, but not much. Definitely got bigger. Like Tanara said, your bump becomes less rounded when you drop.

And the pain and discomfort is probably from her engaging. I engaged and dropped around the same time and within a week and a half I had a baby in my arms. Everyone has different experiences in that department. :flower:

The second picture is when I started noticing the drop. The next day my Dr. told me baby dropped and was engaged AND was I measuring 3 weeks smaller because of it. :)

This was mine when I dropped at 32w..

Thanks girls. And Tanara, I can see how the roundness lessened.

The second picture is when I started noticing the drop. The next day my Dr. told me baby dropped and was engaged AND was I measuring 3 weeks smaller because of it. :)

My MW sent me for a growth scan because I lost four weeks on my measurements, everything came back as fine and she apparently weighs in at 7lbs 9oz already... Now that I think about it, I recall the nurse at the hospital saying that my MW probably worried because I didn't look like I had dropped.

I still think I'm starting to drop, but I never thought it was a big change or anything. Although I looked a lot lower this morning - I should've taken a picture then :dohh: lol.

Go with your gut hun, You know your body best!

I agree with Tanara, only you know your body! How exciting. Shouldn't be long for you now.

And don't take ultrasound measurements too seriously. I was told I'd have an 8-9lb baby at 33 weeks when he was weighed in at 5lbs exactly. Out popped a 6lb, 14oz baby boy. A much more reasonable size lol

=[ I dont get to know how big my baby is, I think she's gonna be 8lbs2oz, just cause.

My 38w bump picture, first is my 37w to compare

This is lightning. I have to get a pic of Thunder yet.

This is delayed BUT...

Awww so cute! I adopted my guinea pig last November after she was dumped off by her previous owners because she had mange. Because of her age (2 1/2 at the time), her chances of being adopted out was slim to none and she was already there 6 months when I found her. Unfortunately she doesn't get along well with other pigs so she's a singleton which makes me so sad for her. She's a sweetheart though. :cloud9:

My beautiful thunder died last week, so I wont be getting new pics of her. She was attacked by her brother (who we thought was a girl. he got her pregnant then we realized).
