delivery problems in uk?

I am waiting for a parcel from Amazon. My Mum is still waiting for an order from Play that was despatched the 3rd December!

I'm waiting on parcels from amazon and play!! Whats really annoying is the fact that my brother ordered off amazon on wed and it arrived here today. ( sends to me as its easier, he's in the RAF)

I ordered my stuff on the 6th!! Mite ring tomorrow as according to tracking its been in royal mail place in scotland since wed morning!! I need play definatly before xmas, my amazon could wait as its for my brother and he's not down til after but TBH i could do without the stress and aggro!!!

Yep Amazon

Ordered 5 things on 30th November it was dispatched on 3rd Dec & meant to be here on the 8th & nothing

I phoned them today & they are sending out a replacement for me, it should be here 21st-23rd Dec so cutting it mega fine as if it doesnt come i need to go out & buy these things as there xmas pressies

2 things on ebay i paid for on 7th Dec have not arrived i emailed the sellers they said they sent them ages ago so i should have them

I dont get it weather here is not bad at all

indeed its just added stress to the xmas rush as it is i think i wont be leaving ordering so late this year, although i say late we ordered it the beginning of this month

I have had my replacement items from amazon today so I am glad I rung and got them resent.

I now have all my deliveries (except my food which is due tuesday) but my bf is still waiting for one from zavvi.

trying ringing to see if they will re-send and upgrade your postage so you at least have a better chance of getting the items in time.

We're awaiting a few things from Play.com that were dispatched on the 30th. Everything posting after has arrived fine since then though.
My OH went into the store and got my Soap and Glory box. We got there at about 12pm and there were not many left so I expect they'd have sold out by the end of the day!

I shockinngly managed to actually get my mama's and papa's order delivered yesterday despite the snow etc!

Was pretty shocked! Waiting on a few more things though but don't think they're gonna come anytime before christmas but can go without them!

I'm waiting on the prints from our LO's professional photos They are all going to be part of our families christmas presents. They were taken on the 23rd Nov, and the prints were ordered on the 30th (from Scotland of all places). I went to the shop yesterday to ask if there was any update and he was quite annoyed (?!) Said he couldn't help the weather?? Well I told him the weather has f all to do with me either, and I was guarenteed them by christmas so either I get them by then or I get my money back so hes going to get them printed in a place in newtownabbey (7 miles away) and have them to my door by monday afternoon.

Now I did feel quite bad before hand actualy going to the shop to badger him bascially haha but he said when we ordered that if worst came to worst he had local printers that could fufil orders! So I dont understand what his problem was.

I think play use Home delivery network so I wouldnt hold out much hope of getting stuff from them before xmas. Im waiting for something too from them

I think everyone needs to be prepared for the fact things might not arrive. There may not be snow where people are but the items might be coming from or through places with snow and could be held up there.
