Hi all, my Lo is struggling with wind at the moment and I am not sure which would be best dentinox or infacol? What have you found to work best ? Thanks in advance for your replies:)

infacol before every feed- it took days to work but i rem stopping it for 2 days and she was a million times worse!!!!

Hiya

My son was about 5 weeks old and had a bad wind problem which for some reason was worse at tea time, I tried dentinox and it worked wonders
you can either syringe it in their mouth at the side or put in their milk, I put it in the side of his mouth a little at a time. I would only use it when they are in discomfort and not every feed.
After a few weeks it stopped, and fingers crossed he hasn't had anymore issues, he farts and burps for England now at 5 months:haha:

Before you try medicine have you tried lying your baby on their stomach over your knee and with the palm of your hand gently rub up and down their back. Lie baby on your knee facing you and lift both hands up to their ears slowly up and down, and then peddle their legs like a bike. old wives tip from my
grannies and it works!

No I haven't tried winding her that way but I'm gonna give it a go - sounds like fun :)

If your baby can't support their head yet rest their head in your hand when lying face down across your knee. When you think about it your bowels start moving when you are more mobile:thumbup:
when lying facing you you can also grab both feet/ankles and gently push both feet/legs toward their body and out again.

dentinox 100%; it even works well if you use occasionally and not before every feed. I have tried infacol and its crap in comparison; I have no idea why HVs recommend infacol so much...xx

with my 1st dentinox was the best but with my 2nd its infacol all the way. we tried dentanox 1st as we felt that it work well with her sister and it did nothing. what ever you choose you should use for a week as it can take a good few days to work
