Depressed, frustrated and lost.

I feel so depressed. I had a Cerclage with my second because I had a "short" cervix and I fought like heck to get another placed with pregnancy because doctors were not convinced I had IC. Now I definitely have IC doctors have decided and offer nothing. They gave me a TVC that said probably wouldn't make any difference with twins and the high risk clinics in my city seem to be pretty content with that care. I know TACs are not done in my city, but TACs have been shown to work with twins, they won't even offer it up as a possibilityin another city. I can 't get any doctor to offer anything or to even look Ito anything without me fighting them for it. I'm so upset and frustrated.

Sorry your having a hard time and congratulations on your pregnancy
If you had a cerclage last time I don't understand why they won't give you it again especially with twins
It's very difficult with doctors as they seem to think they are always right but there not... I personally would push to get a cerclage otherwise you are a high risk to preterm labour etc..
Complain to the manager at your hospital go as high as you can to be heard...try anything

I have a Cerclage. I had to fight an army of OB's to do it. It aggravates me that there are options available but my doctors are unwilling to do anything except for the bare minimum. Very frustrating.
