Here I am again. Back to SQUARE ONE!

I have been TTCieve for 3yrs, had all the tests = UNEXPLAINED FERTILITY.

I was due to go in to hospital for an IUI when i experienced my first ever BFP at xmas, all those months and years of dissapointment was over!

DH and i were so happy, words could not describe. Unfortunately what we didn't know is that our dream was to be shattered 12 weeks later.

We went for our first scan at 12 weeks, i lay myself on the table anxious to see my little one. A few moments passed and i heard the words "I'm so sorry but.......there is no heart beat" My world fell apart.

Nikky died at 9 weeks. One D&C later and here i am again back to where i started. How many more YEARS will i need to wait for my BFP again..........i wonder.............

am so sorry hun.i cant begin to imagine how awful that must have been for you both.i hope you get your sticky BFP very soon you have concieved once so surely you will concieve agin hunni.x

Would you consider trying acupuncture? It can be very helpful in diagnoses of unexplained infertility. If you think you might be interested there's a book I can recommend called The Infertility Cure, by Randine Lewis. She's a traditional chinese medicine doctor who also qualified as a doctor of conventinal medicine. It's a dantastic book, full of information, advice and case studies of women she's treated successfully. It might help you to decide whether or not TCM/acupuncture is for you.

I do know exactly how you feel. We have been ttc since July 08. I got pg last April but on a dating scan was also told "I'm sorry but..." I had a silent miscarriage and had to wait 2 days for a d and c (several emergencies came in and mine kept getting pushed back.) My cycles have been v irregular since coming off the pill in 08- 33-92 days. In nov last yr my GP put me on Clomid. I have had 3 cycles. When it became clear it wasn't working he referred me to fertility. I waited 6 wks for the appt. Appt was last week and left me feeling really down. He asked if I had just waited until later life ttc (I am 37 and didn't meet husband until 35) then said we wouldn't qualify for IVF on the NHS here as cut off is 34. He then told me to go for blood tests on certain days in cycle and go back in 10 weeks. So that is yet another long wait with nothing in between. A friend read an article about acupunture helping and I have had 3 sessions so far as decided it was worth a try. You are not alone in how you feel at all, I understand completely.
