Hi,
Sorry if TMI, but I need to get this worry off my chest....
I had my very first IVF transfer on 12-3 (5 day, 3 early blasocyst)
About 1 hour after the transfer, I had awful diarrhea. Non-stop, and my tummy was turning and so loud with gas pains. It has been on and off for the next few days. Im am mortified to think that this could affect implantation. I have had a previous colon resection, and have GI issues, but this was totally different. Anyone have a similar experiences??
Im so worried.......

Hi babyonmymind. I too had my very first IVF transfer on Monday (3dt though) and I too have GI issues (ulcerative colitis). However, I've not experienced any diarrhoea. The transfer itself wouldn't have caused this, but I do wonder if the ER has, as for me ever since ER I've felt constantly sick and had a lot of abdominal pain which feels like extreme gas. My doc said it was normal and due to the follicles filling back up with fluid and the ovaries enlarging as a result. I would definitely give your doctor a call - it doesn't hurt to be reassured and to check and it's better to be as relaxed as possible at the moment.

I really wouldn't have thought diarrhoea would affect implantation, as the womb is in no way connected to the bowel, but it's still worth just a quick phone call to put your mind at ease.

Hope you're reassured soon and I do hope you get your :bfp: :hugs:
