I just did a First Response test today (my period is due on the 1st Jan) and I saw 1 bold pink line appear - negative, so I obviously felt v disappointed but carried on faffing about in the bathroom for a few mins. I went to the test and saw another very faint line. I don't know a lot about these tests, but i've read a few of you on here talking about evaporation lines, so I thought that may be the case.. but then I noticed on the instructions that you have to leave this brand of test for 3 mins for a result.
I don't want to get excited, but how can I not if it seems like a positive? is there any way this couldn't be right? as I thought it wasn't possible to get a false positive (unless a chemical preg etc?).
Don't want to get my hopes up too soon and im planning on doing my 2nd test on the 1st..
Oh and I won't post the test because it's so faint, I doubt it'd show in a pic.
Help
