Hi Ladies,

I don't use this forum much for posting, and have had a message at the top telling me so! But I do find these boards great for information and I suppose support.

I had a daughter 2.5 yrs ago and my pregnancy was not a positive one in terms of hypertension, OC and depression and finally pre-eclampsia with a little allergic reaction along the way!

Since then the hyper tension has remained but is well controlled I'd say.

Anyway. We'd made the decision to try again and up until a week ago I was enjoying a very quick 1st trimester however I MC'd at 13 weeks. (the baby had stopped growing at 7)

I'd really like to hear from those who suffered a loss between children - I could do with some positive stories!

Hope to join this board properly one day very soon xxx

Hi

I don't know if it helps at all but I miscarried at 7 weeks with my first pregnancy and then went on to have 2 perfectly healthy boys afterwards with no problems. Hopefully for you it was just real horrible bad luck, and next time will be a success.

Wishing you lots of luck.:hugs::hugs:

yes thank you. Hope you manage to get the baby you want with your new husband. xxx

Well, I had no losses... Had DD whom was born with Pierre Robin Sequence at 39w2d! She's absolutley perfect. :)

I fell pregnant in January to have a MMC in March at 9w3d. I fell pregnant again 5 weeks later and I'm now 15+3!

One loss doesn't make it likely that it'll happen again. After one loss and one live birth the odds are the same as if you hadn't had a loss at all. :hugs:

I truly hope you have another forever baby super soon. :hugs:

I had 3 children between 2000 and 2011 and up until that point I had not had a miscarriage. I got pregnant pretty much straight away after having my 3rd but that ended in a mc at 7 weeks. I got pregnant 2months after that and gave birth to a healthy baby girl in the April 2011 and in October 2011 I was pregnant once more. This ended in a missed mc at christmas which was pretty traumatic :( We decided to try again after about 3months and in April 2012 I found out I was pregnant again! I am due 28th december and I am hoping that this christmas will be a happy event rather than a sad one that I had to face last year.
I hope you get your BFP soon. It is very hard to go through a mc. My mum and sister have never had it happen to them so they didnt really know what to say and were not very sympathetic. I think because I already had children they guessed it didnt hurt as much but it was still my baby, a part of me :(

I had a healthy baby on all kinds of depression medicine, having to ween off benzos the whole first trimester. I have 3 girls, we decided to try for a boy. I got pregnant and miscarried at 17 weeks for unknown reasons (baby just died) and it did turn out to be a boy. Now I am pregnant again at 17 weeks and everything is going nicely. I don't care if its a boy or a girl, just want healthy. It's scary worrying as I still have to take two different antidepressants. But I think everything will be fine this time =)

Thanks for starting this thread, and thanks ladies for sharing your stories. I just got my bfp this morning, after ttc #2 (My son is 20 months) for 8 cycles since my mc. I am trying to avoid the negative thoughts but it's hard.

I had a mmc at 11.5 weeks back in Oct, and have had a bfp a few months ago that ended quite quickly, so am naturally a bit cautious going into this. Am also 35 which makes the odds that little bit higher that it might not be plain sailing.

It's good to know there are success stories and gives me hope :flower:

My goal in life has always been to be a mom. My friends joke that I've been a mom since I was born. At 15 I started not trying but not preventing and in a little under 3 years had 9 MCs. Shortly after my 18th birthday I discovered I was pregnant again and finally brought a wonderful little boy into the world. I've always wanted my kids close together and with our sons 1st birthday coming up my husband and I decided to try again. The week before my birthday yet another MC. We are still trying but I can't help the voice in the back of my head telling me it's going to happen 8 more times before we get another little one.
I'm sorry for all of your guys losses. It is truly a difficult time. Keep your heads up and try again. Your little angle will appear some day.

I have 3 kids and 3 losses. all my losses happened within 8 months and after my 3rd son. My recent loss was june 2012, babys heart stopped at 13.2 weeks baby measured correctly. I had a d&e at 14 weeks. I am terrified to get pregnant.

1st loss was Sept 2011(d&e was suppose to be 11 weeks gestational sac measured 5.5 weeks there was a yolk sac but no fetal pole mmc blighted ovum)
2nd loss was Jan 2012(natural miscarriage not 100% on how far I was b/c I was waiting for my period when I got pregnant but I was at least 5-7 weeks)
3rd loss was June 2012 (d&e, had a repeat d&e a week and a half later along with 2 units of blood. I got pregnant 2 months after my 2nd loss and 6 months after my 1st)

Almost 9 years ago I had my son, who was kind of a "surprise" baby. His pregnancy was fairly routine, aside from high blood pressure at 38.5 weeks, which I was induced for and a rough delivery that ended up required forcepts.

I knew I would have a large gap between my children, but in Jan 2011 DH and I decided to try for #2. We got pregnant in Jul 2011 only to MC in Aug @ almost 8weeks.

We waited one cycle after my D&C and started trying again, we got pregnant in Jan 2012 and I am now 32 weeks with another healthy little boy :)

I had my daughter 5 years ago, at the age of 19. Soon after turning 24, we decided to try for another baby. My pregnancy was great, but sadly at 12 weeks, I found out I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. It was so sad for me that I had thought that something inside me was thriving, when for one month it had already gone. I had to have a D&C done. We waited exactly 8 weeks to try again (doctors orders), and it was at that time that I got pregnant with the little rainbow I am growing right now.

With my first pregnancy, I had not a care in the world and I wasn't really aware any complications or losses could occur. This pregnancy has just really made me feel grateful for the point I am at right now and I cherish every minute of it. I had no problems or scares with this pregnancy.

I never thought a miscarriage could happen to me- being 24 and having had a healthy prior pregnancy. The doctor said things like that just happen. Not everyone's eggs or sperm are all in tip-top shape for conception and procreation, so it may have happened that that was the case with your miscarriage. That's what I believe about my miscarriage- that it just wasn't the strongest match of DNA, so nature had to be cruel, but it's nature...

It can happen to anyone, healthy or unhealthy. I hope it's real easy for you to conceive again! Good luck.
