I know some on here have said they just knew they were pregnant.. and others that said they were convinvced af was coming.

Did it actaully feel like af was on its way? How much different did it feel? Were u normal af symptoms still there? eg headache, stomach pulling etc??

I felt really quite like AF was coming & didn't expect a BFP as I hadn't been thinking about it. We hadn't even BD'd as much as usual that month.

For AF I'd normally have cramps for 2 or 3 days before & really bad cramps the day AF starts. I'd also have sore boobs which varied each month how bad it was and moodiness.

Then the month I got my BFP I had the usual crampiness and sore boobs but they weren't that sore. The only differences were that I didn't get the really bad cramps like the day AF would start & I was getting very dizzy and tired. I wasn't sure exactly if I was late for AF or if it was due the next day so I didn't think much of the lack of bad cramps. My cycle got a bit messed up & the dizziness and tiredness I'd put down to work.

The month before I felt sure I was as I was very late for AF and had no AF symptoms but then the witch got me!

The night before my AF was due (last Wednesday) I was pretty much convinced the :witch: was on it's way as I had horrible cramps and a bloated stomach!!

xx

What about headaches?

(can you tell what im thinking about )

I didn't expect to be pregnant, the only symptom of pregnancy I had was late period and sore boobs but the test was positive. I got the period pains I usually get before my period and during my period but when I went to the Hospital yesterday the Nurse said that you get them because it is similar motion to when you have you period.

Example; When you have your period it kinda of pulses inwards but when your pregnant it pulses outwards so the same motion but different way (Period - pulses in. Pregnancy - pulses outwards that's your uterus expanding) I hope that made sense because when she did it she did hand movements so it was easier to understand .

i felt like AF was coming i was convinced but in the end it didnt show

I had mild cramping (AF like) before my BFP. Never got headaches, but that wasn't a common symptom to me even before getting pregnant.

I got AF like cramps a few days before my period was due and then nothing after that except sore boobs. Didn't seem to have PMT either but then that's not very measurable.
The :witch: really messes with your head hey? Pregnancy symptoms are pretty much the same as period symptoms.

Good luck xxx

Thanks hun... i wish they weren't so similar! Its just nice to hear that other people have had similar and then had BFP.... who knows! :dohh:

My AF was late, but I never really kept trazck of it so i didn't know how late. I knew I was pregnant, but was too scared of doing a test and getting the fate given. My symptoms were just extreme tiredness and I was also nauseated in the mornings, which got better after a few hours. I never threw up so I didn't suspect anything until the tiredness hit me.

A bit of both for me. Both times.

It felt like AF was on her way. All the symptoms were there. But deep down inside I had a slight feeling that she wouldn't arrive. I dunno how to explain it. It's not like I said to everyone "Oh no I won't get it cause I'm pregnant" The feeling was so slight it was hardly noticable. It was just like this calm voice inside me telling me to not really expect her. Even though I had all the symptoms and was running to the loo tampon in hand every five minutes :)

By the time AF was 3 days late I had already set my mind on being pregnant. So the positive test results didn't really shock me.

I felt like that all the way thru my 1st Trimester! x
