Did you want multiple kids but have decided one is okay after LTTTC?

So, when I was younger, I always wanted 2, 4 or six 6 children. (Definitely an even number.) However, since we have had so much trouble TTC, now I think I would be happy with one happy healthy child.

Does anyone else feel this way?

I would still like two if we can but if it was just the one then i would still be happy with that.

I was pretty certain I'd have two kids by the time I was 30. The way things are going I will be lucky to have one.

DH and I have always wanted 2-3 children but at this stage, yes, I would be extremely happy and would feel very blessed just to have 1.

like the other girlies have said, me and DH have always said we want a "house full" but at this moment in time id be grateful for one x

Growing up with an older brother, I always wanted at least 2 kids, but I will be blessed if I have just 1.

As the other girls said one would be an absolute blessing, we always spoke about 2 before/when we started TTC.

I always wanted two children, but after all the problems TTC I'd really reconcilled myself to at best having one child and that being a miracle beyond measure. I think DH only wanted one, but it was something we just didn't bother discussing as we didn't feel that hopeful.

I know I am the luckiest woman in the world that the IVF worked and we ended up with twins.

Yeah i used to want 6....... now i'm 33 i don't think i could cram it all in, even with back to back birthing!!

DH would like 3.... with IVF you never know!! xx
