Did your labours start off differently

Last time my waters just broke and it started from there .... i knew it was definately my waters as it was a big gush and i started to get pain immediately after that.

Wondering if this will happen again or it will start with contractions this time. Anyone with more than one start off the same or was it different each time?

With my 1st my waters gushed, with my 2nd my waters were leaking, I was not having pains and did not really know I was in labour. I went to the hospital to get checked out, my waters gushed when the MW examined me and my child was born within minutes.

2 totally different labours so I'm not sure what to expect this time round.
