DIY alternatives to blackout blinds/curtains

Dunelm Mill sell linings (mine were about £12). They hook onto the curtain tracks or poles and they are really good and really easy!

We just use a big sheet of black plastic Taped to the wall and all

I used to work nights and used dark thick towels or dark blankets, and they worked great. When my mom worked nights she put tin foil over her windows.
