Dizzy and Heart Palpitations

My daughter is ten weeks old and a few weeks ago I let my milk dry up. Soon after I started feeling different...getting random dizzy spells, feeling anxious, having random palpitations (feels like my heart is skipping a beat) which I have never had before...I know it doesn't make any sense to stop breastfeeding and start having these symptoms but I am really overwhelmed and confused by how I am feeling. Any other ladies have similar symptoms? For a while I though sleep deprivation might play a part so I tried getting more rest but don't see things improving and I am getting nervous...

I had the exact same thing and was diagnosed with postnatal anxiety and put on some tablets which quickly put an end to all the symptoms. I would go and see your doctor asap and they can help you. Its perfectly normal and if it is the same thing delaying in asking for help could make it worse. Good luck

I had similar and was sent for blood test and it came back saying something was wrong with my thyroid. Waiting to see a specialist to find out what though. Apparently it's common to develop thyroid problems after pregnancy.

^^^^^that's what I was goin to say. Thyroid problems run in my family & the heart palpitations are a telltale sign. I work at an urgent care clinic & as soon as somebody tells me that's one of their symptoms, I know the thyroid is going to be checked.
