My first baby was a HORRIBLE SLEEPER. As a newborn he slept in 45 minute stretches day and night. Took hours of rocking/shushing to ever get him asleep through the whole first year and then he'd still be up 3 times. Every month, I'd be googling 3 month sleep regression, 5 month sleep regression, 8 month sleep regression... things always just seemed to get worse. He just started sleeping through the night around 20 months, just in time for baby number 2 to come along.
She's totally different. She wakes up once to feed around 3am and that's it, almost 2 months old. No rocking necessary, just her paci and she'll drift off on her own. Are some babies just good sleepers - no regressions - all the way through!? Or will I be googling 3 month sleep regression again here in the next couple weeks
