I've just ordered a dyson animal. It's a refurbished one from eBay as I couldn't afford a new one. I'm super excited for it to be delivered ( sad I know to be excited over a Hoover!) I was reading review and a couple of people said they're not as good as expected. Do they pick up everything? I have a cat and a dog and the hairs drive me mad!

Ive had a couple of Dysons and they are amazing, better than any hoover ive ever tried.

We are waiting for the new yr sales in the hope of grabbing a bargain Dyson Ball.

Is it a ball?

We to a animal ball well over a year ago and I love it, still love it and half the family went and go one after seeing how great ours was.

We have the DC32 which is the animal cylinder (not ball) which is fabby! We got it from the the Dyson Outlet on eBay for a bargain price and have no regretted it for one single moment. It's really compact which is a must in our two bed flat, and hasn't disappointed us one bit with it's capabilities.

We don't have animals, but our flat is completely carpeted and both OH and I have really bad allergies which are greatly exacerbated by dust (especially when it's in carpets for some reason) but the Dyson seems to have largely erradicated the problem.

We purchased some extra attachments too which I think are worth their weight in gold - the mattress tool (I dyson the mattress every time I change the sheets and it's made a huge difference!), and the soft dusting tool which I use on all the window ledges, furniture, lamp shades, curtains etc.

Okay, I'll admit it.... we are total Dyson freaks now!

I've bought my first dyson, its the rechargeable hand held digital one. I had reservations when I bought it as it was replacing my main Hoover. I didn't think it would be that powerful being a rechargeable but flippin eck its amazing!! I can't believe how much it picks up compared to my old Hoover, made me feel a bit sick the first time I used it as it was packed with dust and I'd actually hoovered that day!!

We have a dyson, think its just the original one. Had it about 4 months now and I wouldn't go back. You can actually see the lines on the carpet when it sucks up its that powerful.

I have 3 kids and cream carpet through the house so I needed a good one!

Xx

Never had anything but Dysons!

Just changed mine a few months ago as I fancied their new DC47 Multifloor because I have tiles and carpet and it's wonderful!! My sister took my old Dyson upright from me and she'll no doubt be using that for a long time to come.

We have one and it's defo the best vacuum you can have! I know they're expensive but it was so worth it for us, we have a dog too and the hairs also do my head in! Have fun with yours! :)

Yep, I've got a DC14 (Original Animal), had it 7 years and it's still going strong!

Make sure you give it a good clean every so often (I tend to do it twice a year), cleaning the filters, taking off all the bits that are detatchable and cleaning them out. It makes a HUGE difference to performance.

We have had ours over 10 years and going great. We used it a couple of times a day from mud being dragged in etc. Probably one of the best household purchases I have ever made.
