They may want to run routine blood tests and the like, babe. Like blood types et al. I went with my husband for my first u/s and then later the doctor took us both to the office to talk things over with us, what we should expect, what we should be cautious of, what tests I need to go through etc. Your husband is as important in this as you are, so perhaps they want to see you together so that he knows and takes care of you respectively.
You said you had an ultrasound on wednesday right? Did you see the baby on screen and hear the heartbeat? What was the result of the ultrasound on wednesday?

Yeah I had an ultrasound at the hospital a scheduled ultrasound. Yes we heard and saw a heart beat. I know it was moving around a bit as well . I know she wanted an appointment as soon as possible because of the time line of testing for something before if i wanted it for down syndrome and i guess that whole thing would be in 3 weeks. I assume it could be for that reason. I am just lost. I realized they didn't ask for his family history now that i think about it last time. But my fear is from his own birth that we would be monitored more.
