Do evap lines show up in inverted pics?

So I took a test on Wednesday because my girls felt like they were about to jump off my chest and take residency elsewhere. A fabulous evap line immediately showed up. I don't chart, so I have no idea how many dpo I am and I don't temp because we're NTNP. Anyway, when I saw the evap line, I just went about with the rest of my day! I got what I thought was my period Friday (9/7) a week early. I've been very lightly bleeding, mostly pink and brown with a small amount of red. Today, I'm just brown spotting and it looks more like tinted CM than a menstrual flow. That's what made me take another look at the pics I took of my test from Wednesday. I have been feeling nauseous, tired, headachy, swollen breasts and today I actually threw up. My sense of smell is heightened. These feelings have continued through out these last two days of bleeding. I went back and re-tweeked the pic and I wasn't sure if evap lines show through inverted pics, because I can clearly see another line! Ack! My head is telling me that it's still just an evap, but I just thought I'd see what the board has to say. Any suggestions? :flower: The pictures are the inverted, and tweeked and the original.

My suggestion is to retest as soon as you stop bleeding. That looks like an evap but you may have had what you think is a normal period and it may not be. Retest and let us know!! Good luck!

I. Hate. Evap lines. lol. They make me want to bang my head against a wall every time I get one because the over-analyzer in me comes out! But I agree with you. If I'm still feeling sick, then I'll retest. My period is pretty much done at this point. I might have another day of spotting.

I would definitely re-test. Appears to be an evap since it looks like it's slightly off from where the line would appear.

But in addition to that, you may want to call the docs for bloods - because I had a similar bleeding happen and it turned out to be what they called a "suspected ectopic" (too early to see but beta levels rose and fell and rose again)

Was the line pink at all? If it was, it's not an evap. I'd restest right away! :)

Deffo retest, those pics look like faint positives!

Evap lines do show up in inverted pictures, but they show up black, not white.

Good luck!
