Do i get an early scan ?????

Well i see my midwife tomorrow she is coming to my home to do my booking i will of course ask her if i get an early scan just wondering how many people had an early scan after a stillbirth??? xxx

So sorry for your loss and congratulations on your BFP

I had an early mc - I got an early scan on advice of my consultant.

It can't hurt to ask - I think it depends on where you are and who you speak to.

My epu do reassurance scans at 8 weeks if uv had a loss, I think most do =)

I had a mmc in march at 13 weeks and have been given 3 hospital scans so far x

Its worth an ask hun, i didnt get an early scan after my stillbirth though, but it will prob just depend on who u speak to and stuff, good luck xx

Your loss and mc is enough reason babe. At our EPU, if you've had even one mc(documented), they will see you ((hugs)))

Oh thats not very good hun. They are supposed to be supportive for us ladies who have had a loss. I have had 2 mc's and I am currently pregnant. My GP referred me for an early scan last week and because I was so worried (the dates dont add up and I was panicky) they just said they would scan again at 10 weeks and again for the usual 12 week one. I think it does depend on where you are and who you speak to.

If you really want one I would push for it.

I could go private saving up for christmas too so dunno what to do??? i think with me having the stillbirth they dont think it will be of benefit so may just wait it out to be sure x

Bypass your Midwife and call your Consultants secretery, what happened to your daughter was similar to Taylors death and i got 2 early scans, 1 for reassurance and 1 to check the Blob was growing.

Thanks V trouble is i dont know who my consultant is gonna be i requested not to have the same one as in my pregnancy with Erin as i found her very abrupt i can do without that will ring bereavment midwife at maternity unit see if she can point me in the right direction xxx
