Do I look like a boy?

I'm really starting to regret showing family and friends my 3d scan pics cos every single person has said the baby is a boy. They have all said the baby has very masculine, broad features. We never found out the sex of the baby and really want to keep it a surprise, but now all my family are referring to the baby as a boy when they talk about it.

As much fun as it is to guess, its actually really starting to annoy me that everyone is calling the baby a 'he', when theres as much chance of it being a little girl. When I correct people, they just say 'sure we all know its a boy - look at its face'.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

how annoying for you! they should not be doing that....like you say, there's as much chance of it being a girl. Just ignore them hun x

thats rubbish, we dont know what we are having either my family are split some think boy and some think girl, we refer to our baby as he because i dont like calling the baby " it" but i really don have a clue what were having, dont worry about it xx

Aww hunni don't listen to anyone else.. Just ignore them. Ive had this in the past few months as my bumps gotten bigger and bigger..!! People saying the way the bump is facing means its a boy. The way Im carrying means its a boy.. The fact I wanted to drink water all the time ment its a boy.. (Hello, summertime = dyhdration I guess loads of non pregnant people drank loads too.)

People can be very annoying even my boyf convinced that shes going to be a boy.. pink clothes for the first 3 months I said..!! lol. xx

Thanks ladies, I know I should just ignore them, but its the fact everyone is saying it that annoys me. We were at a family party on sat and in conversation everyone was calling the baby a boy. Obviously if it is a little boy I don't mind, but I kinda feel that we've lost the whole element of surprise and if the baby is born a boy, everyone will be saying 'sure we already knew that'.

Don't all babys have broad features? Don't listen hun i've never seen a baby that looks like a boy or a girl they just look like beautiful babys there is no way of telling without looking at the private parts and even then it can be wrong before baby is born.

Practically everyone said mine is a boy too (look left on my avatar! What do you think?! Lol) I've thought the same, and worried it might look like a man woman if it came out a girl haha! Oh us Mums find so much to worry about!! I think your baby could be either too, and it'll be your family and friends who feel stupid when you ask them postnatally "so, does she look like a boy still?"

Same here, my first looked like a pretty girl when he entered the world, even the MWs said so, yet on 4D scan people said he looked like a he (without knowing). Point being, the scan doesn't reflect what they'll come out like!

We all know most newborns could be a boy or girl if dressed in pink or blue !
What if it's a girl now and they called her all those boy things they would feel like fools so tell them to keep their opinions to theirselves ! Xx

On 4D scans I think every baby looks like a baby! Lol not a boy or a girl! Unless u saw a pic of the baby's 'bits' then it could be either! I think that all baby's look abit squashed on scans cos of all the fluid ect however I have to say ur baby is very cute!!! Xx
