Hi ladies

I've bought some fruit for Dylan to try - some necatrines, plums, apples, pears and bananas. I have given him the banana raw and have, so far, stewed the apples and pears before pureeing them. Do I need to stew the plums and necatrines too or is stewing only necessary before freezing? I'm a bit lost when it comes to freezing and cooking fruit - any advice greatfully recieved!

Thanks all!

From what I've heard, bananas are the only fruit that you dont have to cook first.

If plums & nectarine spft enough I would have said just blend them down to puree.
I used to puree mango down too.

Bananas mash no probs.

I would defo stew plums if freezing though.

Thanks ladies,

I just stewed some nectarine and then spilt it all over the kitchen (literally!). It was all over the floor and cupboards and up my legs! I was just thinking how nice it smelt.

Just started all over again...!

Hi Jenny,
Yes, you need to cook all fruit apart from bananas, avocado and papayas.
