Do it cheap or wait longer??

Hey ladies need some advice,

Do i do my wedding on the cheap so we can get married sooner, i would love to get married sooner but its just the money.

I found a deal at a local hotel which is really good

We are currently running a £999.00 wedding offer for 2010 and a £1,499.00 wedding offer for 2011.

This offer is running at all of our hotels, providing a suitable suite is available on your chosen date. The £999.00 and £1,499.00 offers includes a bucks fizz reception and a 3 course wedding breakfast for 50 guests, and evening buffet for 100 guests. There is no additional charge for hiring the suite. The only extra costs will be additional items - perhaps if you want to provide wine on the tables during the wedding breakfast, or if you would like us to provide a DJ or entertainment. Additional guests would be charge for per head.

which is the size of the wedding i want on im not really botherd about big fancy venues etc .....

Or do we put the wedding of longer untill we can afford a big fancy venue??

If your not fussed on a big fancy venue and will enjoy it just as much saving money then I say go for it and do it cheaper why wait and spend more money if your happy either way. the money you save can go on future babies or on things in the home

If its want you both want then go for it!!
That deal sounds great and if its a nice venue and holds enough people then fab!!
It's not about the money you spend it's about having a day that you and your OH want and that is right for you!

Its not a bad hotel and its in the city centre so its very easy to get to for my entire family because not many people drive in my family and im only going to be providing transport for my imediate family and DFs family not aunts uncles cousins.... so it would be easier. Also It would be closer to home and im not wanting to travel far on my wedding day.

Not 100% sure about the room though would you have a look and tell me your HONEST opinions

The little pictures not brilliant on there but it looks good to me.
I would defineltly give them a ring and see if you couldn't go up and have a look at the room when it is all set up ready for a wedding. That is what we did with our venue.
It will probably look totaly different dressed for a wedding as it will more than likely have white linen on and flowers on tables etc.
I would recommend going to see the room yourself hun before you decide!
It does look like a nice room tho and a decent size!

i think it looks good I agree with above though, ask if you can go view it when it's all set up for a wedding and make a decision then x

Yeh it does seem a good size, i like another hotel aswell as its rather big and can have the service there aswell but if we went for that one it would only be because of the out side which we wouldnt see for very long iykwim, & it would cost about £6000 for just the room hire and the food is a minimum of £26 a head so i would be looking at a 2012 wedding which i dont want...

I think im going to give them a ring in the morning to see if we can have a look around xxx

I know what you mean about not using the outside for long.
Our venue was quite expensive! But we love it and we had 2 years to save for it. It was what we wanted and we decided we didn't want to compramise.
If its what you want then go fo it.

sadly we're doing it both ways think will take me 5years to save at least the £4,000 we're aiming for
