I took this test 14dpo and it read Pregnant. I called my doctor and was told to come in for a blood test since we are 3 months post reversal. The next morning I took a first urine test so I could take pictures for the baby book (battery lasts a few hours but not overnight) and it was Not Pregnant. I called the doctor and she said to still come in to get the test done. It came back negative. I would just suggest to use a regular "pee on a stick" test.

Digis read up to 50 miu. Maybe you just got a bad one...?

Did you take it apart? I'd be curious to see what the inside looks like. I took mine apart the other day and it was fascinating. Though I can't help but wonder if blue dye tests have so many problems, why these generally seem to get such positive reviews? Maybe because most people usually only take them after they get several positives on other tests? I'm not sure. It would be interesting to see what yours looked like. If it's an evap, it would be interesting to see if that reads as a positive on the screen.

sounds like a defective test. digitals are usually pretty accurate.

Could you have had a chemical? :hugs: XXX

Yeah it could have been a chemical pregnancy, ClearBlue digi was well accurate for me

Maybe it's just me but I don't understand the hype or fuss over the CB digi's  I've always used the ordinary hpt's.

Are you sure you werent pregnant? I got positives on digi's with both my chemicals and within 12 hours they read not pregnant.
Digi's are the only test I 100% trust.

Goodluck for next cycle though xxx

It is so funny that so many peeps on here recommend the digis when I have read a ton of people say that they get false positives on them.

Ive never heard of any one getting a false pos on a digi, of any kind.

Since joining i have noticed that every pg test ever made seems to have evaps, indents and false pos even when af is late it sometimes teases us.

I've gotten the little book before...I've never heard of false positive results before either  Perhaps it was a chemical? Or maybe your your urine was more diluted and it caused you to get a false negative?

Have you tested again with a regular test?

Digitals are pretty good for confirmation of a faint line, but I wouldn't use them for anything other than to see the word 'Pregnant' once I was sure I was.

CBdigi detected for me in march at 16mIU...they're rated for 25mIU. [I peed on it right before the blood test in the lab so it was more than accurate.]

I have also never heard of a false pregnant on a digital. And they read as low as 23 miu as I got a pregnant on a digital with the blood test the same day. I would say if you start bleeding it sounds like a chemical. sorry sweetie. :hugs:

On Amazon there are a ton of reviewers who received false positives.
I myself haven't recieved one, I was pregnant when it told me so, but that doesn't mean that my happy experience is universal.

Yes clear blue digi sucks happened to me last month too
False pos said 1 to 2 weeks pregnant went to my doc had a urine
And blood test negative

Clearblue digital tests are really good at giving that yes or no answer.... But these are electrical pieces of equipment and therefore are not fool proof.

The test uses 2 strips inside the test, to determine if your pregnant or not, but it uses blue dye, I don't know why blue dye is sooo rubbish but it is. If you had of looked inside at these strips, I dare say you would of found that the dye collected around the test line area, therefore making the test show "pregnant".

Also your test you got at the doctors, was it blood? Was it a beta HCG I.e where there say your number is 26 for example? Or was it a yes or no answer. Have you retested with a normal 2 line pregnancy test?

I also think people misuse them, testing stupidly at like 7DPO, 8DPO etc, it should be 4 days before your period! Chemical pregnancies happen, the Clearblue Digital actually is very good at measuring HCG, if you test early then you might find you lost the baby early which is very common, hence not the Clearblues fault at all just nature....

Ninja I tested at 7dpo... (although at the time I didn't know that I was only 7dpo, untill a scan revealed so) I also got pregnant 1-2 on it.

Like I say there are very good takes all the guess work out of determining lines etc... But there not fool proof x

Yeah but 7DPO is soooooooo early, a lot of women lose babies at this DPO and never know it!

It did turn out to be chemical...if the positive did not happen then I would have never known that I was even pregnant at all. I have finally gotten a true positive...4 weeks today. Thank you for your posts...I am learning.
