Im new to formula feeding and still getting to grips with it!

Do u ever have to clean or sterilise the scoop in any way? How about the little pots to take out with u? Or shud they just be left dry as they are?
Cos sometimes the steam from the hot water sticks a little formula in there.

I sterilise the scoops about once a week and put my powder pot in the dishwasher and sterilise once its empty x

I dont sterilse them. The powder isnt sterile so its counter productive! I do wash them in the dishwasher.

I wash them with soapy hot water every couple of days once they've got powder stuck to them due to the steam.

We used to have the scoops in our milton sterilser before it occurred to me what the previous poster said. The formula powder isn't sterile so what's the point? It was also pretty annoying as they were wet out the steriliser and the powder used to get stuck all over it. Had to wash them every time.

I have also never sterilised the little pots for the same reason. I wash them in soapy water, leave to dry on the rack and use.

Joy x
