Do wearing FITFLOPS actually work?

I bought myself a pair the other day as there was a discount on them but im not sure whether they are just a gimmick or they actually work?

Anyone have them?

A few years ago I had a pair of shoes with soles in a similar shape as the fitflops, it used to feel different wearing them and if I had them on all day and did a bunch of walking I could feel it in my calves. That said, I doubt they do much if you're looking for concrete results... squats would probably help your butt more than fitflops.
