I'm new to using OPKs, as this is only my second month, but every time I've taken one I get a second line, and they're not super faint, but they're not positive, either. I was just wondering if this was the norm.

Last month I started taking them around day 10 and this month I started taking them today (day 12).

Thanks and happy BDing!!

theres always a little bit of lh in your system. as far back as i can remember, i have always gotten 2 lines on an opk. That's why a true positive is only when the test line is as dark as, or darker than, the control. everything else can be regarded as a negative.

I did some dangerous googling and read about PCOS possibly resulting in constant showing of two strong lines. My lines are never faint. Anyone know anything about this?

my lines are never faint either! unless i do it in the middle of the day...but in the am or pm they are dark. but not the same dark as the control line

I have heard about the correlation between PCOS and dark OPKs but I don't know any details, sorry.
