Do you experience cramps

I get cramps throughout night aswell as the morning, dont even no if babys heads engaged or nothing

Since I woke up this morning they have been SO bad... mine seem to be in the same area as yours, Nikki. They feel so much like period cramps. Hopefully it's lots of progression happening so we can have quick, easy labors!

I have this too, i get my hopes up every time... only to be let down :( lol x

i have been getting them everyday for 3 weeks. several times a day. some hurt more than others. go to dr on thursday where he will be checking my cervix and babies position!

Did you experience this with magnus also and was he a late or early baby?

Good luck! I was so excited for that kind of appointment :haha: Hope bubs is head down for you and you have some dilation going on down there!

Ive been having them since about 36/37 weeks as well, they come and go. Monday night of last week I was woken up at 330am with really bad ones that were accompanied by tightening of the uterus too, but only had a few and then they went away. DR said those sound like "Real" contractions, but apparently its normal to have them come and go somewhat. I thought the period type pains were at least doing something to dilate me, but nope..at my 38 wk appt I was still closed and thick. frustrating!

I get them as well. They are so mild though that I don't really notice them much. I notice them more when I am really relaxed.

I have been getting cramping period type pains off and on for about a week now. As far as i know my cervix is still long and closed. Well it was a week ago when they checked in L&D. Thank god they stopped my contractions before they could do anything. They did say that Airyonna is head down and very low, like at 0 station. During the US the tech had to stick the wand on my pelvic bone just to see her head/face. I wonder if it's her head that's causing the cramping?

I have been having those period type cramps since 34 weeks! Especially when i'm doing things around the house, and when I lay down at night. Doctor told me to just drink lots of water, and that should help them subside.

I've been feeling these too - quite a few today! I was hoping that meant there was some "progress" going on, but I see some ladies have had zero results... so not fair!

Doctor's apt on Wednesday, so we'll have to see what he says!
