do you HAVE to have the steroid injections?

I am a complete whimp, ive had them and i can't say they hurt. It gave me a nice bruise on my leg which was tender like any other bruise it sort of ached for a little bit after but tbh i had an IV fitted just before and that hurt sooo much more. Steriod are seriously worth it if baby is expected early, in your case babies not all preemies are lucky enough to have them, thats all i kept thinking when i had mine done. xxx
