Do your nipples hurt before, during, or after ovulation?

My nipples have been really sore for the passed few days. It's not normal at all and this is the first time they've hurt this much ever. We haven't really been trying this month (only have had sex like 4 times scattered out) so I don't think I'm pregnant. But because I'm a POAS addict I took an ovulation test and I think it's barely positive.

I was just diagnosed with PCOS last week and was put on metformin so that's why we haven't really been trying.

So what do you think? (My chart doesn't even look like I ovulated either)

Mine sometimes do. Boobs and nipples start to get sore about a week before period starts. I have a 10 day LP so symptoms start about 3 days after I o.

Mine get mildly sore at ovulation but its due to estrogen rise , in the 2ww they also get sore sometimes after 5dpo till AF comes but its a different kind of soreness due to progesterone.
