Hi All,

I went to the doctor today after a chemical pregnancy a few weeks ago just to make sure everything looked AOK. She did some blood work to check my thyroid and after a few questions about my cycle, she said it sounded like I might have PCOS. We have only been TTC for 4 cycles and she wants to me to wait the typical year before starting any fertility drugs however she did tell me to go get Pregnitude. I had never heard of it. Here is an article about it--https://www.fertilityauthority.com/articles/natural-treatment-pcos-now-available

I just started my first dose today so I'll keep ya'll posted... Anyone else currently take this?

Not heard of this before...but then I don't have PCOS so that may be why! GL, let us know how you get on!

Hi- I just wanted to give an update that for the first time since I've been off BC that I ovulated on CD 17 instead of CD 23 or 24 of my 28 day Cycle!! I've only been taking the Pregnitude for a few days--- but I also started off the month taking Vitamin B Complex-- 50 mg so I don't know if either of those were the reason or if it was just a coincidence!

I just wanted to let you know that PCOS is not a death sentence as far as getting pregnant. I was first diagnosed about 7 years ago and I had very little trouble getting pregnant. I was on birth control several years ago for about 2 months before it made my blood pressure hit the floor and I had to stop. I've been managing my weight and taking care of myself much better than I did in the past. I really think that it was a huge contributing factor for me.

It may be difficult to get pregnant for some women with PCOS, but not always. If it turns out that you do have it, I wouldn't give it much thought. Do your best to do whatever the treatment is (for me they just kept telling me to lose weight) and it will surely help you!

Good luck! :flower:

Hello, ladies! I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years ago. I've had very long anovulatory cycles, among the other yuck that PCOS causes. I've been taking Pregnitude for two weeks as of tomorrow. On the second day I began spotting, and according to my temp chart and CM, it looks like I've ovulated for the first time in who knows how long! Keeping my FX'ed that this is going to help me get back to as normal as I can be. Good luck to you all! :D

That is great!! I dont' think too many people know about it yet as it's very new in the US. I haven't had any side effects from it-- how about you??

I think it's slowly catching on. I was researching natural ways to regulate ovulation, and I came across Pregnitude. It didn't look like the regular scams, because it had actual research trials along with it. Looking deeper into it, I found another article which said that 3 mg Melatonin daily with the Pregnitude/Inofolic made the outcome even better! If you aren't sensitive to melatonin, I would recommend taking one every night before bedtime. Just make sure you have enough time to get at least 7-8 hours sleep before you do. :D

I'm not allowed to post links yet, as I have fewer than 10 posts on BnB. If you don't find the articles for melatonin and myo inositol on your own, I'll get around to it when my probationary period is over. lol

Elle> Sorry... I forgot to even answer your question about side effects. I haven't noticed any at all. So far, I'm nothing but impressed. :D

Hi there ! Well this is my first cycle with it-- I've been taking it since CD 14 and I'm on 25 right now... got my OPK+ on CD 17 & 18. Trying to wait to test until 9/1 unless AF gets me first or if I just can't wait anymore!

I've had no side effects from the Pregnitude at all... that is always a plus!

You keep us posted too:) :dust:

strdstkittenx> Sorry, I can't post links yet. I'm still under the minimum comments... give me a minute and I'll add a few and then see if it will let me.

ElleT613> I know I can hardly ever wait for the 2ww to be over. I always end up testing early... but then I always end up disappointed. I'm 7dpo now, so I'm halfway there! I am trying not to test before the 4th.

I've heard about CoQ10 but I haven't gotten around to getting any because it's so expensive... When it is on sale, it always seems like some emergency pops up that requires any spare cash.

I do have DHEA and it's supposed to be helpful as well. I'll try to post a link for that info as well.

Apparently, CoQ10 is helpful in male reproduction health as well... it's found in seminal fluid and it aids in sperm count and motility. Couldn't hurt if hubby's a little older. ;)

Now, then... I've posted 10 times and proven I'm not a robot. lol I'm actually glad they do that to help keep out the spam.

Hopefully, I won't get a warning message this time.

Is Pregnitude only used for PCOS or does it help with other issues as well?
