Doctor Visit -- Pregnitude?!

strdstkittenx> You're welcome!

kerrbear7183> I don't believe it's just for cysters. I think it's for ovulation or egg quality issues in general.

Hi Girls!

I just wanted to update you as promised. I didn't get my BFP this cycle but I did have a 12 day luteal phase (up from 6!). In my 5th cycle now ttc. Hoping to get my BFP this time around-- so we shall see!

Kerrbear-- I think Pregnitude is used to regulate cycles and help with egg quality. Maybe ask your doctor about it?? You dont' need a prescription so I doubt it could do any harm.... :dust:

That's a shame, Elle. :hugs: Thank you for keeping us posted, though. This cycle didn't pan out for me, either. BUT!!! I'm seeing improvements with my appetite and hirsutism. We all have to start somewhere, right?! GL with the next go-round, ladies. :flower:

I'll check into it! I wonder if I could try it before Clomid.

Hi girls! I just took my first dose of pregnitude tonight! Saw dr 4 years ago and found out that my fsh was 9 and my problem was most likely bad quality eggs. Kind took 4 years off of trying and just relaxing but it still hasent happened, so today was my initial appointment again after 4 yrs and was given pregnitude and a multivitamin (both samples) and pick a month supply up at the pharmacy for both tomorrow. Day 3 of my period I start all the testing again thAt I did yes ago. Scared for bad or worse results! But I'm really looking forward to seeing how pregnitude works for me! I wish you girls luck!!!

Welcome, Erin! I've read a study where including melatonin (sleep aid supplement) actually increases the benefits of egg quality along with the inositol. If egg quality is your downfall, you should look into that! I posted the link once before, but to save the trouble of having to find it:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20712264

If you aren't sensitive to melatonin, it is definitely worth a shot!

AFM: I'm due for :witch: on 9/22, but I *feel* pregnant now. I've been exhausted and moody. Today, I  4 times over things I would normally shrug off. My bbs have been tingly, like the let down sensation from BF even though I haven't in 5 and a half years. I had 2 days of light brown to pink spotting (9/14-9/15, which was about 3 weeks after CD1), but only when I wipe. I've had watery mouth, headaches, and a stuffy/runny nose for days. I POAS with FMU, but it was negative. Possibly too early.

Going to try to wait until Sunday to test again. That BFN is always so discouraging. I'll just feel so silly for putting so much stock in PMS/cold symptoms if it turns out to be the case.

Good luck to everyone and let us know how Pregnitude/Inofolic is helping! :dust:

Almost forgot, FF said I *may* have started a triphasic shift on CD 23 and has so far given me a 62 point possible pregnancy score.

That's an interesting study. I had read previously that melatonin can actually inhibit fertility so it's neat to read an article like that.

Thanks Karipoo!!!! I'll definatley try that as well. I used to take melatonin to sleep about a yr ago..so I know I do fine on it, as long as I get a full nights sleep or ill be drowsy all day!!! Lol

Myo-inositol / Pregnitude looks really neat. I am just loathe to add another pill to the handfuls I already take, lol. If no luck in a couple more cycles, I may add it. It's just a B vitamin derivative, I believe, so can't hurt anything.

So ladies, from 10/6 - 10/11 I'm suppose to ovulate, let's see if pregnitude is gonna work for me this month!!! I've been on it now about 3 weeks. I started a week before my period, so hopefully it helped this month. What's new with everyone?????

Good luck with the Pregnitude!

The only new thing for me is I'm on my first round of Clomid. :)

I will be starting Pregnitude next week! Hope it brings us all BFPs!

I've been hearing a little bit about Pregnitude recently. Do you have to have a doctor's referral to get it?

Hi Erinmarie!! Keep us posted-- :dust:

You actually do not need a doctor's referral. I would just call your local pharmacy and have them order it for you. I have only found one pharmacy (and it was attached to my obgyn's office) that actually carried it.

I stopped taking it twice a day and now only take it once a day. I'm on my 6th cycle.. (I've been taking it since cycle #4).

Good luck!

Ill definitely keep you updated! Still haven't ovulated yet. I'm using the dollar tree brand.. I heard they work just as good, anyone know first hand if they work for testing ovualtion? And as far as getting pregnitude I got mine at Walgreens and they ordered it and had it by the next day, 34.99$ not bad, I feel like I been taking it forever but I'm still on my first box and have like a week worth of packets lol good luck everyone!!! And remember.. "Just relax, it will happen".. Lol I HATE hearing that from people tht get pregnant so easy... :}

I had an opportunity to get just Inositol powder for stupid cheap, so I am now taking the powder in water 2x a day. I think the powder is myo-inositol, but might be the d-chiro-comething-inositol. Anyone know? Either one is supposed to be good for blood sugar, but myo is better for ovulation.

LEt us know how it works! I have read that difference between buying it like that vs what is pregnitude is that the myo insitol in pregnitude is in the purest form possible, that you can just buy in the vitamin section. I dont' know why though- it's not like it's a prescription!
