Does anyone else's oh simply not care about the details?

My oh has paid the deposit on venue an arranged and paid registrar but simply does not seem to care about the little things... I am trying to do things cheaply but he still moans they cost too much. He asked me to sort the invites so I spent first part of Sunday trying to find some I liked and could afford. When that didn't happen I logged onto vistaprint and designed my own which I love are effect and I am so pleased with them. Cost around £55 for 30 day invites 30 RSVP cards and 40 eve invites plus envelopes after looking round I thought was a good price but apparently still too much...

£55 for all your invites and RSVP cards is an amazing price!!! Short of printing them yourself you won't get them much cheaper than that!

I think few 'grooms' are interested in the details when it comes to wedding planning. Some might like a say on the bigger things like venue and colour scheme and cake etc, and some like to have a hand in everything. Mine is neither of those. He didn't even come to see the venues with me It's fine by me though, as long as he pays the bills and turns up on the day. I think I'd be more frustrated if he wanted to help all the time. Haha x

My OH is just leaving it all to me lol, he just agrees with everything i come up with lol.. he did come to the reception venue and paid the deposit though. i did get quite frustrated at one point and plonked the laptop down in front of him and told him to look through some decorations for reception venue and tell me what he liked, he found some nice stuff, but i will say i will happily do it all myself with the help of BM's lol

I thought £55 was good too... I designed them and was gonna use vistaprint to print them. Day invites are on as large postcards with envelopes rsvp cards are small postcards with my address pre printed on to send back and evening invites again as small postcards but with envelopes. Thought i was being clever but oh just doesn't get it...

£55 is fab, what a bargain! Show him some prices if you got them from someone who specialises in wedding stationary then he'll be loving the price! Ours are off eBay but we're still paying way more than that!

My OH is the kind of person that wouldn't have any ideas on the little things but would want them there on the day if that makes sense! He does forget about paying for all them little things though all be thinks about is the big things!
