Have been thinking about getting LO an aquadraw for xmas but i was wondering if they were any good really? They're just kind of pricey fo what they actually are, are they worth it? How messy is it in reality? As she's only going to be 15 months at xmas i'm undecided if she'd get it or not.

I had one for Mia when she was younger and she loved it!They are not messy at all,and the only faffy bit is when you need to fill the pen back up with water!!Mia loved it and used to spend ages drawing away, she likes the fact she could just sit on it all unlike her magic draw(?).I would recomend it and say it is worth every penny, but have a look on ebay as my sister has got her lo a princess one for 12.99!x

WE've got the Thomas one....it's good but not really worth paying full whack for it. Have you got a 20% offELC voucher or something? Or ask someone else to get it:thumbup:

Nah....not messy

We have rainbow aqua draw, Carly had it when she was 2 at christmas! She is now 4 and still plays with it! Also ella cant get enough of it also :)

A few others are on sale in Argos .. im not sure which one you are looking for but worth a look :)

Not messy at all. All you have to do is fill pens with water and the great thing is if they use pens elsewhere (like walls!!) they dont leave a mark as the water only turns coloured when its used on the mat. My son (3) loves his and likes to wet his hands and feet and do hand prints etc. Try and shop around though as they are expensive but i got mine on offer with amazon online.

my older 2 loved their mini 1s. they were great and no mess apart from the youngest (was a 15months) chewed the pens and you cant get replacements.

i just got lily this one from eBay- seemed a pretty good bargain!

Not messy and loads of fun! the Cinderella one is on offer in Argos just now , we have the rainbow one and the travel one atm but she is getting the cinderella one for here and the ITNG one for at Grans house!

So pleased, I got Jess the Teletubbies one for xmas of ebay too, looking forward to seeing her use it!! xXx

Thanks ladies seems it'll be one on the xmas list  I was thinking of getting the rainbow one but there are so many different ones!

Yeah you can....I rang Tomy when we lost the pen and they sent me two new ones free of charge:thumbup:. You also get tiny pens with those aquadraw mini mats (the ones with Dora, Thomas etc on them) they're great to use on it too:happydance:

Just for reference to anyone who's interested, argos have the cinderella aquadraw for £22 at minute  It looks really cute but it is 3+, not sure why some are 18 months and some are 3+ guess they have different parts?

We have the Cars one for DSS....you draw roads on it and it has a Lightning McQueen which drives around following the roads. Also has a pen with it so he can also do normal drawings on it too. He absolutely loves it and every time he stays with us it is the first thing to come out of the toy box. He loves dipping his hands and feet in water and doing prints on it too. Well worth buying but was quite expensive at £35.
