does anyone home-school? (esp. US posters)

So discussing this with my hubby and I just want some info so I can have real conversations with him about it. Right now I am really considering it but he thinks she will miss so much not being in state schools.

A lot of US schools are jumping on the online-learning bandwagon, you may be able to find a local school district that offers online schooling for kiddos, and utilize that. It's really an awesome option. I am over the online students at the high school level here, but I know they also offer it for elementary age kids.
