Does anyone know what postero fundal and right lateral placenta mean?

I had a growth scan today and it usually just says posteriour placenta but it had that.

Any ideas?

Nooope, BUT looking it up....

'That is a good place for your placenta to be located. Postero means the back side (posterior) uterus. Fundal means up high in the uterus in the fundus. The upper part of the uterus (the fundus) is the most favorable area for placental implantation because it is rich in blood and, therefore, nutrients and oxygen. ' - yahoo answers

' A lateral placenta is one which is on the side wall of your uterus. In itself, this is nothing to worry about.' - Babycentre

Hope this helps!
