Its a beautiful name, amelia is really popular at the moment so think amelie is a lovely way of getting around that

xx

i really wanted Amelia for a girl but everywhere i turn there is a baby or toddler called amelia! i suggest Amelie to my hubby the other day so love love love it!

I love Amelie, would have picked it myself if we were havng a girl x

I think its a lovely name Amelia is common but not that common Izzy. Izzybel ect is very very common at every play group we go to there is 3-5!! no Amelia's tho, :hugs:

I LOVE this name - Amelie Skye

I was on a course last week and the lady who ran it her GD was called amelie, i thought it sounded so unusual.

Plus im a HV support worker and it the 6 years i have never heard it

Amelie Skye is beautiful but OH wanted Rose and we both like Winter :)

I think it's beautiful and liked it from when I saw the film of that name. I also like Amelle, which is one of the Sugababes names (I think, they change so often).

On the 2009 Most Popular Names list Amelia was 9th and Amelie 57th but in 2008 it was 59th so it is getting more popular.

I love Amelie and that was the name we had picked if our LO was a girl

I love Amelie. I always wished it was my name instead of Emeline.
My mum considered it when she was pregnant with me, but dad wanted a less french name, and he won.
I think it's classy and gorgeus!
Only wish I could use it! If it wasn't so close to my own name, I'd use it if my bub's a girl. Amelie Juliet/Rose. x
