Hi ladies,

I was hoping that after reaching 12 weeks I would be a bit more relaxed about this pregnancy thing but unfortunately it looks like I'm not

During my pregnancy so far my breasts have been tender on and off and I have increased two cup sizes, yet yesterday at 12 weeks exactly I felt like my breasts were maybe a bit smaller.

I asked my OH if he thought they were different and to my horror (I was hoping for reassurance) he said he thought they were maybe not smaller but felt less full than they have been (sorry if TMI)

Today my breasts are definitely feeling less full. They are not tender (this has been on and off anyway) but my nipples are still sore.

I am frightened that this might mean my baby has stopped growing and something has gone wrong  I have already had a scan and not due another until 20 weeks now, I don't even have a midwife appointment again until the end of next month.

Has anyone else had changes/decreases in breast fullness on and off or happen to know if it's likely that anything is wrong?

I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm being silly but breast changes have been the only symptom I've really had x

not changes in fullness but soreness has come and gone, and then returned again with a vengeance! ive heard some other women say initial boob swelling/pain has calmed down towards 2nd tri, try not to worry im sure all is fine

Cheers tink, I'm not very good at the not worrying thing. Every time I top worrying about something I seem to start worrying about something else.

Arrgh! x

I am 12 weeks and my breasts are definitely not as full but just as sore. My bloating has also gone away too and baby is fine. :)

Thank you, mine have gone back to being sore again today. It's my first pregnancy and I seem to be worrying about every little thing x

My boobs change daily. Some days I cannot entertain an underwired bra and others I can. Some days my bras feel tight and others they don't. Its strange but I hope it settles down soon, all this bra swapping is driving me mad, not to mention costing me a fortune for the new bras I've had to buy lol!

Now sooo relieved it's not just me :-)

Chellepot you're right, could end up costing us a fortune in bra's :-S x

I'm glad you posted this as I have been measuring my boob growth according to the measurement from a birth mark to the fold undr my boob, this had decreased yesterday so had a little freak out in my head. As I'm due around the same time, I feel rather relieved now as I was trying to to get too worked up about it.

Hi PixieBelle,

It's hard not to get worked up when you really just don't know what to expect isn't it.

I'm glad that this has put your mind at rest too :-) xx
