Does everyone get ewcm???

HI girls, I'm right on ovulation i think, my cycles aren't regular so ticker could be wrong, do you all get ewcm on ovulation? i seem to just be more "wetter" than normal but not stretchy, don't think i got it last month either. Does anyone else have this?

I never got proper egg white cm. Around the time of ovulation I'd have increased cm as long as I'd been drinking enough water, which would be more runny. I think everyone is different. Compare it to the feel of the swimmers fluid. It should be of the consistancy that the swimmers can get through. Mine was deffinatly never really very stretchy either.

Some cycles I get it and sometimes I don't notice it at all. Evening primrose oil capsules from cd-1 to O are supposed to help with getting more EWCM, I'm gonna try them my next cycle.

No, not everyone eggs EWCM. It doesn't mean however that you are not getting fertile CM, it's just that the egg white kind is the most fertile type. I used to get it on some months, but not all.

If you get no EWCM, you just go with the last day of wettest CM.

I haven't really had any cewcm but I remember one time having a lot, where it was stringy and everything...I think I get more clear, slippery cm when I might be Oing...

I've never really seen EWCM as it's supposed to be described, I usually get a lot more in general, but it's never really as stretchy as it's supposed to be

I don't think i've ever had it which made me a bit concerned esp when others have it a lot it seems. Feeling a bit better today knowing others don't have it

yeah definately, thats my concern that im not ovulating. Does AF still come if you don't ovulate?

I believe that AF will still come even if you don't ovulate, every woman has months of anovulation (I think that's what it's called--where they don't ovulate) but AF still shows. If you are really worried about this I would talk to your doctor. Good luck

im booked in at Drs tommorrow, don't think they'll do tests cos this is our 5th month ttc but i wanna go anyway, i made myself sore yesterday checking for ewcm every 10 minutes despite ov cramps/pains. I've starting temping this month and that seems to be erractic as well

A lot of women have EWCM but because they do an external check of their CM they may not notice it unless there are copious amounts. The important EWCM is at your cervix

If you are checking your CM at the cervix and you still find you don't have EWCM, Guaifenesin (the active ingredient in Robitussin) or the equivalent cough syrup which is an expectorant in the UK can help thin your mucous (not just for your lungs! ) Each teaspoon should have 100mg of guaifenesin and you take two teaspoons three times a day... WITH PLENTY of water.

Preseed is a personal lubricant that can also help get the little guys to the egg. I've heard a lot of great success stories with it.
