Does fenugreek expire?

I have a bottle from when Hayden was nursing...it's almost 4yrs old lol....and really don't want to buy more if I can just use it. Preston is really sick right now and nursing like crazy but my supply definitely isn't keeping up, it was already pretty low because he wasn't nursing often before this. He is barely having any wet diapers despite nursing like crazy so he's definitely not getting enough. I've already upped my water and want to add in fenugreek but wanted to see if I could just take this old stuff. I'm not seeing an expiration date on the bottle

I take it back, I overlooked the date...it expired 3/2011. So over a year expired...safe to still take? lol I know some people take expired medicine and it's fine?

Yeah I decided I wouldn't take it, going to go out today to get some more. Has anyone used it and/or the tea that helps milk production. I one better than the other?
