Does HCG leftover from recent mc gice positive ovulation test?

Had erpc (surgical mc) 10 days ago....have been tracking my hcg through pregnancy tests. however this morning I was curious so peed on both ovulation and pregnancy tests. Still positive on pregnancy test (though lighter) and strong ovulation positive.....


I have read leftover hcg hormone can give false positive on ovulation tests. Anyone confirm?

Yep it would.

Opks detect hcg hormone but pregnancy tests do not detect lh. So you could use a opk as a preg test but not vice versa.

Yep thought as much....Shall not be using those for a long while then ha ha

On cycle day 10 of MC, I had 3 days of positive OPKs and then they went negative. I was slightly excited until I realized I still had low levels of HCG.
