Does history work in this one....?

My mom and I keep getting on the topic of babies and being pregnant. Last night we were talking about symptoms and being or feeling pregnant. She didn't get morning sickness, and her sense of smell or taste didn't change. Apparently, neither has my sisters in any of their pregnancies.

So that makes me think that I'm very likely to take after my mom and my sisters?

Is that one of those things that kind of just run in the families?
Any experience with that?
