Does LH surge in the blood first?

Hi Ladies So I had a blood test done to check lh yesterday, it back at 15 and the clinic nurse said it was high. So, my question is, with my levels being so high, when will/did ovulation occur? I had to do a trigger shot last night and will do iui tomorrow morning. I'm concerned that ovulation has already occurred due to pains I was having yesterday. What do you ladies think? Does the lh peak first in the blood and then peak in urine? Then will ovulation occur 12 to 36 hours later? TIA ladies

Yes. Urine is made up of waste products filtered out from the blood. Hormones never are secreted directly into urine or they would have no effect on the body.
