I would take out the 'if at all possible' if you really don't want certain things. Mine says I do not consent to vaginal examinations etc.
Yes, babies who are put on their mothers stomach (after an unmedicated birth) will crawl to the breast and self attach (look at You Tube for videos on Breast Crawl, they're amazing).
You wont need to put that you intend to use cloth nappies, you just supply a cloth nappy and they put it on the baby
I would also put I DO NOT CONSENT to artificial milk (formula milk) being given to the baby under any circumstances (or whatever your wish is). Mine also says this as I feel very strongly about it.
Don't worry if it seems that your plan is worded strongly or seems rude. It is best to have your views clearly recorded and easily understood by anyone who reads it.
thank ladies, i hadn't thought about afterwards, but i think that i will deal with that at the time, if they place baby on my tummy i can lift them up a bit, it was just the enforcement of the skin to skin, MW on course said they ten to be placed on your tummy as they can reach that point from the birthing end
I think they have a rooting reflex anyway, and will crawl towards your boobies...
