I am getting these comments too. I actually broke down crying the other day because I've always had body image issues (was eating disordered for many years) and now it's really tough not to take these comments to heart.
Here I am at 18 weeks. My husband is a big guy so his friends think it's hilarious to talk about how I'm having the most gigantic baby ever. It's not funny anymore to me, I just wish they would shut their mouths if they don't have anything nice to say.
Everyone develops differently, do not worry, some people have joked with me asking me if I am sure I am not having twins ... and I am not!!!! I don't even think I am THAT big! LOL
My profile pic is me today at 24 weeks and I feel huuuge !! My belly button is pushed out flat and I'm pretty sure I wasnt this big this early last time but I take pride in knowing I don't look preggo from the back lol !! I think your bump is cute and beautiful
I think y'all have fab bumps! And for the record, I'll take one of your t-shirts and I think the second line should say "touch my belly and I'll kick you in the privates"!
I'm 15 wks with my 2nd and already look as big as I did at 25 wks with my first. Makes me feel tubby even though I know I am being paranoid. I can't wait for my bump to be nice and firm like your pic Hun embrace it x
Conversely, with my first I constantly got 'your bump is small' comments which are just as bad as you worry something is wrong. I just carried long and had a beautiful 7lb 1oz bundle of joy
You look great - your all belly! I started showing around 21 ish weeks and now im showing more by the minute. I mean, we have a human inside of us - what do ppl expect? Thankfully i havent heard any nasty comments yet I really believe it all depends on what kind of clothes you wear. When I wear loose shirts you cant tell im pregnant at all because my legs and arms are still fairly skinny (just like yours). Today I am wearing a tighter cotton shirt and I know I am going to hear more comments. My chiropractor (who is due around the same time as me) says she responds with yes, I am starting to look more like a mommy now I think that is a cute, nice response even though you may not be thinking cute nice things in your head
I've just found this thread and its made me feel loads better. I'm 19w 2 days and was feeling like I was getting bigger everyday but I seem to be on par with the rest of you at this stage.
