Does my OB have this right?

I am making a spontaneous move in a few weeks. I'm early in my pregnancy so switching OB's shouldn't be a problem. My concern is that my current OB said that I could have a c-section if I choose to. My husband and I both came to conclusion that this is what we want to do since he is currently deployed with the Army and that would be the only way he would be able to be home for the birth. I am really nervous that the new OB with the military hospital on the post i'm moving back to will not give me this option.......

Thanks!

I don't think they should. It's your body and should be able to do whatever you want with it!!

It honestly depends on the doctor. I know some doctors will refuse to do elective c-sections because of the risks. Also it depends on the insurance, not all insurance companies will cover an elective c-section either because of the increased expense involved.
