Does your lo wear a vest?

Not anymore, only a night he wears one but when winter hits then he will wear vests again.

Yep, keeps him all together! Only doesn't wear one on hot nights.
Mothercare, Next & Tesco do vests in 2-3 btw

Bun doesn't wear one. They were great when he was tiny (not walking/crawling) and regular tops would always ride up, but now I find them a pain in the butt - especially with the potty! Plus I don't think I can get them in size 2-3 around here anyway :haha:

AJ always wears a big boy vest (and would always have a popper vest on) except in the warmer weather. Its only in the past few weeks he's gone to bed without one under his pj's (his room is always cool)

:)

Thomas still wears them but won't for much longer as he is in the biggest size they do and when he gets potty trained, like someone else said they'd get in the way, so we will get some big boy style ones then. :)

Findlay doesn't always wear one despite his tops riding up as we find popper bodysuits are a nightmare with his gastrostomy button in his tummy as it makes it much harder to tell if his feeding tube has come out of his button (as the vest holds the tube inside his clothes whereas with no vest if it comes out we can immediately see) and so with a bodysuit the first we know of is when his clothes become soaking wet from milk and stomach contents coming out of his tube and button and he then needs a full wipe down and change of clothes :dohh:

He's got a couple of vests that are wrap around style ones that open flat (some bodysuit ones and some top half only vest ones) that are a bit better though and he wears those if he needs too. We were really struggling to find the open flat top half ones once he finally grew out of the preemie range but Mothercare are doing the open flat ones in bigger baby sizes now so he can get them for ages now although they will still expose his tummy as they are a baby version of a 'big boy vest' but they give him an extra layer under his tops. They are fab when he goes for surgeries too as they have no metal as they are fasten with Velcro.

Luckily we use cloth nappies so we don't need anything to hold nappies in place.

Laura has worn a vest every day since birth, save when it was really hot a few weeks ago and when she had a temperature when ill.

I have strugled to find vests for 18-24months too but finally found some in tesco.

I too think they're underwear and will continue putting vests on her until she is in bra's!

Ruby does unless it's very warm. She wears big girl vests now, she looks so cute in them :)

Jason is still in the full popper style ones. In size 2-3..he still wears sleepsuits too lol.

i always have and always will put James in a vest i have the thought of him having no vest on he seems undressed...i wouldnt walk around without my bra on lol! Also it gets very drafty and i hate getting a draft up my back so wouldnt want him to! He now has a peg so will always wear a vest to stop him messing x

In the summer he didn't have vest on but no it's getting colder he does! :-)

I stopped putting Lucas in vests before the summer but now he's back in them as it's so cold.

amelie doesn't really but she might when it gets colder, idk. She has 3 peppa pig ones.

Over the summer he rarely wore one, she overheats really easily. Now winter is here she wears one every day.

bodysuits because i like the 'tucked in' idea, but i must admit they are beginning to look a bit small and i dont think they do ones bigger than 18-24 months, so might move over to big boy's vests soon xx

this may have been said already but we got some 2-3 yr popper vests in mothercare. helen has some big girl vests but i love the poppered ones for night time and for really cold days. my dh is 34 and he still wears vests on cold days:blush: not w:blush:ith poppers though!!

I put sometimes, as she hasn't worn them over the summer. Now it's getting colder she has worn them a few times recently and probably will start wearing them more often now.

The boys haven't all summer unless they were in dungarees so wore them as t shirts. I just bought some sleeveless ones for winter but tbh we go everywhere in the car and it's mostly indoors so they haven't worn vests yet. They do for the park though x
