Does your lo wear a vest?

i put sometimes,as iv only just started to put him in them again as its getting colder, however we had another quite warm day,the other day so i didnt put him in one iukwim he is quite a hot baby naturally and i tend to worry about him overheating rather than getting to cold.

I have never put a vest on my daughter, even when it was 10c in our house last winter (we don't have central heating here). I may put extra layers on her, but no layers that aren't meant to be seen, if you know what I mean.

Jess wears a vest, not in summer/warmer months but now we're into winter she wears one all the time xXx

LO always wears a body suit so poppered at nappy. if its a cooler day it is a sleeveless bodysuit and then a t-shirt over he top (then normal jumper/jacket). In the summer she would wear bodysuit that was short sleeved but was pretty so was worn alone.

She always wers body suits at night time too underneath her fleecesuits now its cooler, and when the temp drops more she'll go into a fleece bag as well as the fleecesuit so she can't kick it off.

I answered yes as I consier bodysuit as the vest, if nothing else it stops the nappy sagging My brother doesn't put boduuits on his children and he's forever complaining about saggy nappies and I think the vests stop that.
I intend to use poppered vest until they're potty training and can't wear them as needs to be able to eaily access down below

Alf always wears a vest except in the hot summer months (which is about 3 weeks in the uk lol) he wore popper vests up until about 17 months now he wears big bit vests without the poppers because of the potty! They still tuck in his trousers nicely though and tbh don't really notice the difference, it's a pain tucking them in all the time but at least I don't have to sod about with the poppers lol

Yes, but only when it's cold enough for her to need one. My dd didn't wear one over the summer, but now it's colder she's wearing them again. I'm using the body suits. My dd's room can get quite cold at night, or it feels like that to me and as she likes to sleep without her duvet on, it's an extra layer on her to keep her warm, until I go in and check on her and cover her back up.

Yes.

When it gets cold (like now) I put Evie in a popper vest as part of her underwear.

She has a few long sleeve white popper tshirts that she wears under dresses which acts like a vest IYKWIM

She wears either PJs or baby grows at night

zak tends to take his clothes and jammies of, but cant manage the buttons on his vest haha even if he didnt thought id have him in, cause hes prone to chest infections aswell and it helps his nappy stay up, i found in the summer wen he didnt wear a vest his nappy would fall down lol

K still wears vests with poppers, but I have bought him proper vests when he goes into that size as. He didn't wear them in the summer though

My LO wears a vest in the day, one with the poppers in the crotch. If she doesn't her top rides up and she gets the wind on her back/belly and then she gets a cold. In the summer when it's warm she doesn't wear one though.

At night at the moment she's in a long sleeve vest and 2.5tog bag, so no additional vest. But soon i will put her in footless babygro's as it's getting a bit chillier. Her room only goes down to 18deg though.

I voted yes, but he didn't actually wear one over the summer.

All the time.
Only when shes wearing a tiny top where the vest would poke out the sides she won't. iykwim?lol

Yes.

Esther wears a poppered vest pretty much all year round and then when the weather gets really cold we put a homemade wool vest underneath it.

Daniel wears a normal vest but only in the cold weather - yesterday was the first time this year he's worn his and he'll probably keep wearing it now until March time (obviously not the same one lol)

Isla mostly does. She didn't in the summer when it was hot, but now she always wears a sleeveless popper vest under her top. I am tempted to switch to proper little girl's vests rather than baby vests, but am worried they might ride up as she has a long back. I don't want her getting cold.

no. but it isnt very cold here. i did look for some at one point and didnt find any, but will get some for the colder months. we arent even in jumpers yet

Crazy!

Yes Chloe wears one sometimes, just depends on what she is wearing on top as to if I choose a vest or baby grow.

yes. all the time. my little one doesnt like the poppered vests anymore she kept saying they made her sore lol(oh the joys when they learn new sentinces haha). so we now get her the big girl vests with no poppers she loves them cos u can get dora patens and in the night garden etc.

I stopped putting my LO in them when the weather got warmer but now our house is freezing and i've put him back in them! When i was pregnant i always thought they were a quite babyish thing for 'older' babies and toddlers to wear but now that i have my LO i realise that they are made in bigger sizes because they are actually really useful! Perfect for keeping my LO's tummy warm in the cold when he's flapping his arms about and great for stopping him pulling his nappy off at night, hehe.

All the time, simply because with his vest his body is always covered and he won't get cold when his top rides up etc. :)

Yep think he's only NOT worn a vest about twice!

And will be sticking with the baby vests as long as possible as they seem more comfortable than having a vest ride up etc
