I'm a yorkshire accent and am always getting told I talk too fast

I went for a dummy run today to find out where we were going cos I can get lost going to the local co-op and a taxi driver nearly run into the back of the car. I stopped at some traffic lights and he started to flash his lights and beep his horn to let me know that there was no way he could stop. I pulled through the red light and the taxi eventually stopped over the white line. God was my heart a pumping

Aly, what's your OH going to do? I'm just thinking of poor Andy being sat with a big group of mums and kids, I don't think anything could make him more uncomfortable. But if he had a bloke to go to a nearby pub with or something...
